Pricing policy for participating to Group Greek traditional dancing lessons 

The Hellenic Cultural Society of Bristol Methexis (CIO under reg.no 1206301) keeps the following policies with reference to the prices for attending Greek traditional dancing lessons:

•  Monthly subscription is defined to £22 per adult person per month to attend the lessons to one of the two classes running every Monday,  Wednesday (for the first class) & Thursday (for the second class) at 7:30pm – 8:30pm on weekly basis in the classroom Jump studios located at 5, Neptune Court, Barton Manor, Bristol BS2 0RL. The monthly subscription is fixed and does not depend on how many lessons of the available ones the participant will attend during the whole month. Monthly subscription for underage participants (accompanied by Parent/Guardian) is defined to £10 per person[AS1] .

• Monthly subscription to £30[AS2]  per adult person per month to attend both classes running every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30pm – 8:30pm on weekly basis in the classroom Jump studios located at 5, Neptune Court, Barton Manor, Bristol BS2 0RL. With this subscription, participants are free to attend any of the two classes, either on Wednesday or Thursday or both per month. The monthly subscription is pre-fixed and does not depend on how many lessons of the available ones the participant will attend during the whole month. For underage participants (accompanied by Parent/Guardian) the subscription to attend any of the two classes, either on Wednesdays or Thursdays or both per month is defined to £15 per person. 

•  For individuals who wish to pay separately for each lesson they attend, the price is set at £8 per lesson. Additionally, the price for an underage accompanied by a parent/guardian is £4 per lesson.

•  For individuals who have fully paid for their subscribed single class (£22/month) and wish to attend additional lessons from the other class may do so at a rate of £5 per additional lesson[AS3] .

•  For individuals who have paid for a lesson at the standard rate of £8 per lesson in a certain class and wish to attend another lesson in another class within the same week the rate per lesson is set at £5.

Monthly payments should be completed within the first five days of each month, while pay-per-lesson payments must be made at least 24 hours before the lesson[AS4] . 

Payment reference should be written as following:

• For monthly payments, the transaction reference should include the month and year (e.g., FEB25 for February 2025).

• For pay-per-lesson payments, the transaction reference should include the date of the lesson (e.g., 16/06/25 for a lesson on June 16th 2025).

Payment Terms

•     Monthly subscription payments are due at the beginning of each month.

•     If payment is not received by the 5th of the month, HCS Methexis reserves the right to apply the per session rate (£8)for attendance until payment is settled.

First attending lesson serves the purpose of meeting dancing class and is always free of charge.

In special occasions where the lessons are about to be held on specific days per month and not during the whole month (i.e. during Christmas/Easter holidays), the monthly subscription will be defined differently according to announcements be made early in advance with regards to the prices and specific dates the lessons will be held.

Refund policy

Money that has been deposited for payment of separate lesson, could be refunded if the sender has applied for a refund in written form (e-mail or text or message) at least 24 hours prior to the start of the lesson. Also deposits to pay monthly subscription of attending dancing class could be refunded if the application for a refund is done in written form (e-mail or text or message) within 3 working days from the date of the deposit and prior to the beginning of the first lesson of the monthly subscription.

GDPR Addendum – WhatsApp Group Membership

As part of its communication and coordination, the Hellenic Cultural Society of Bristol Methexis maintains a WhatsApp group for active members attending dance lessons.

• Members who do not attend dance lessons for three consecutive months will be removed from the WhatsApp group.

•  This measure is in place to ensure compliance with GDPR principles, as it is not appropriate for individuals to remain in a communication channel in which they are no longer active participants. Continuing to have access would mean passively viewing information and discussions that are not relevant to them.

Former members are always welcome to rejoin the WhatsApp group if they resume participation in lessons.
